The purpose of the Master’s Program (MSc) is to train specialized scientists with an interdisciplinary background and high-quality theoretical and experimental education in cutting-edge new materials. This includes topics such as development, properties, characterization, selection, and optimization of materials, as well as entrepreneurial skills, management, and technology transfer. Graduates of the program possess a solid foundation of theoretical and experimental knowledge, which is essential for understanding and formalizing advanced principles in the development, properties, and technology of materials and their applications, as well as their environmental and social impacts and sustainable development. They are capable of meeting the needs of research centers, universities, and the Research & Development departments of industry and production sectors both in Greece and in the European Union.
